Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how TCG Global Enterprises, Inc. ("TCG Global Enterprises, Inc.," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information for the 1 and Done Exam Prep website, browser app, and Daily Text Prep SMS program (collectively, the "Service"). 1 and Done Exam Prep and 1anddone-examprep.com are service and brand properties of TCG Global Enterprises, Inc.
1. Information we collect
The Service may collect the following categories of information:
- Signup information: first name, mobile number, time zone, preferred send time, consent version, consent timestamp, and consent source.
- Exam waitlist information: email address, selected exam, consent statement and timestamp, waitlist status, opt-out record, IP address, and browser metadata.
- SMS program records: outbound messages, inbound replies, A-D answers, commands such as STOP or HELP, delivery status, score, streak, question sequence, and related timestamps.
- Browser app information: study progress, quiz activity, badges, receipts, and preferences. Much of the browser app's study progress is stored locally on your device unless synchronized through Daily Text Prep or another server feature.
- Technical information: IP address, browser or device metadata, logs, security events, rate-limit records, error reports, and webhook verification records.
- Support information: information you provide when contacting support.
2. Information we do not need
The Service does not require client records, protected health information, therapy notes, clinical supervision materials, payment card data, passwords, emergency disclosures, or sensitive client-identifying details. Please do not send that information through the website or SMS program.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including to:
- enroll participants and document text-message consent;
- schedule and send daily study questions;
- process replies, grade answers, send rationales and study tips, and maintain scores or streaks;
- honor STOP, HELP, PAUSE, RESUME, SCORE, and START commands;
- manage exam-specific waitlists, measure development interest, send meaningful development or launch updates, and honor waitlist opt-outs;
- show optional study receipts and progress in the browser app;
- provide support, troubleshoot delivery, prevent duplicate scoring, detect abuse, and secure the Service;
- comply with legal, carrier, messaging, and operational requirements.
4. SMS opt-in data and marketing restrictions
We do not sell mobile numbers, SMS consent records, or Daily Text Prep opt-in data. We do not share text-message originator opt-in data or consent information with third parties for their unrelated marketing or promotional purposes. We may share SMS-related information with service providers and carriers only as needed to operate, secure, support, and comply with the SMS program.
5. Service providers
The implementation is designed to use Vercel for hosting and scheduled functions, Supabase for database and account-authentication services, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse detection, Stripe for payment processing and billing, Resend for transactional or waitlist email, Twilio for SMS messaging, Cloudmersive for transient malware and content-threat scanning of claim documents before private storage, wireless carriers for message routing, and QR-code tooling for signup access. These providers may process information on our behalf or as independent providers under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also use professional advisers, analytics, or support tools if added later.
6. Local storage, cookies, and QR links
The browser app may use local storage to keep study progress, preferences, and an opaque Daily Text Prep browser token. Clearing browser storage may remove local progress or disconnect the optional web receipt. QR codes and signup links may include the public signup URL but should not include your phone number or personal study data.
7. Disclosure of information
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the Service; to carriers and messaging intermediaries; to comply with law, subpoenas, or lawful requests; to enforce terms and protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a business transfer; or with your direction or consent.
8. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the Service, support, security, reporting, legal obligations, and messaging compliance. Consent, waitlist opt-out, SMS opt-out, billing, and delivery records may be retained longer when needed to demonstrate compliance or prevent messages after an opt-out.
9. Security
The codebase is designed to use server-only database credentials, Turnstile bot checks on selected public actions, Twilio webhook signature validation, hashed browser connection tokens, rate limits, row-level database controls, duplicate-message protections, and fail-closed malware scanning before a claim document is stored. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting your device and avoiding sensitive disclosures by text.
10. Your choices
- Stop texts: Reply STOP to end Daily Text Prep messages.
- Pause texts: Reply PAUSE to stop scheduled questions without deleting progress.
- Resume texts: Reply RESUME or START, depending on whether your carrier recorded an opt-out.
- Get help: Reply HELP or contact support.
- Leave an exam waitlist: Enter the same email on the relevant exam-prep page and choose “Leave this waitlist,” or contact support.
- Export account data: After signing in to a verified account, use the account page to download a portable JSON copy of the application data tied to your identity.
- Request account deletion: After signing in to a verified account, use the account page to submit a deletion request. The request pauses future Daily Text Prep scheduling and unsubscribes active exam waitlists tied to the account email while we verify and apply applicable retention requirements.
- Browser storage: You can clear browser storage, but doing so may remove local study progress or optional receipt access.
11. Privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about certain disclosures. Verified account holders can request an export or deletion from the account page; you may also contact us using the information below. A deletion request is not an immediate erasure. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law, including consent, opt-out, billing, security, and audit records.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults preparing for professional licensure or related study. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. International use
The Service is currently intended for a United States SMS launch only. Daily Text Prep is available only for U.S. mobile numbers. Messaging consent, quiet hours, sender registration, data-transfer, and privacy requirements vary by country, so TCG Global Enterprises, Inc. should complete a separate review before enabling production SMS delivery outside the United States.
14. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, app, SMS program, or another reasonable channel.
